Mark H. Plamondon, Head Honcho


 

Mark started Tandem Associates in 1994 after 14 years working for diverse advertising agencies in New York and Philadelphia, handling accounts like Proctor and Gamble, Colgate Palmolive, Kraft Foods and Johnson & Johnson. As a specialist in consumer goods and services, he is a seasoned veteran of myriad marketing disciplines including strategic planning, brand positioning, new product development, market research and brand communications.

Off and on since 2006 he has been an adjunct professor teaching a variety of marketing courses at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, on both the undergraduate and graduate level. Also over the last 20 years, Mark has taught Strategic Planning for the Philadelphia Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies and has been a speaker at the Pennsylvania Food Consortium Executive Forum, and the Mid-Atlantic Fruit and Vegetable Convention.

Mark’s experience with nonprofit boards includes serving as Chairman of Living Beyond Breast Cancer from 2001-2004 and President of Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy from 1996-1998. He currently is actively involved with area food banks.

Mark lives in Blue Bell, PA, has four children and enjoys traveling, hiking and visiting new craft breweries.
